This policy explains what personal information Master Painting Inc. collects through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We are a painting contractor based in Los Angeles, California.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the estimate form we collect your name, phone number, email address, the property address or neighbourhood, the service you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field.
- Technical information. Our server records the IP address and timestamp of form submissions. This is used only to prevent spam and abuse.
- Analytics. If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data such as pages viewed and approximate region. Analytics does not load at all until you press accept.
Why we use it
- To respond to your estimate request and schedule a walkthrough.
- To prepare and send a written estimate and, if you hire us, to carry out and invoice the work.
- To protect the website from automated abuse.
- To understand which pages are useful, where you have consented to analytics.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months. We do not use your information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you separately ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use service providers strictly to operate this site and communicate with you: our web host, our email provider, and Google Analytics where you have consented. These providers process data on our instructions only. We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests that do not become jobs are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for the period required by California contracting, tax and insurance rules. Anti-abuse logs are deleted within 30 days.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and rate limited, the administration area requires a password and is protected against cross-site request forgery, and access to stored enquiries is restricted to authorised personnel.
Your California privacy rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected, used and disclosed about you.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell or share it.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Cookies
The site sets no advertising cookies. A single browser storage entry records your cookie choice so we do not ask again. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
Text messages
If you provide a mobile number and agree to be contacted, we may text you about your estimate or scheduling. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
