Master Painting Inc. wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.
Standard we aim for
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is also the benchmark commonly applied under the Americans with Disabilities Act and California's Unruh Civil Rights Act.
What we have done
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is always visible.
- A skip link lets keyboard and screen reader users jump straight to the main content.
- Text and interface colours are tested for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- All meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Headings follow a logical order and each page has exactly one main heading.
- Form fields have visible labels, hints and error messages announced to screen readers.
- Interactive controls, including the before-and-after comparison slider, expose proper roles and respond to arrow keys.
- Animation is disabled automatically for visitors who set "reduce motion" in their operating system.
- Text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows without loss of content.
Known limitations
The embedded Google Map on the contact page is provided by Google and we cannot control its accessibility. The full address, phone number and opening hours are always available as plain text on the same page so no information is only available inside the map.
